The Harvard sailing team had yet another successful weekend on the water, winning the Captain Hurst Bowl in Cambridge and taking fifth at the Women's Atlantic Coast Championship (ACC) in New Haven.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Harvard sailing team had yet another successful weekend on the water, winning the Captain Hurst Bowl in Cambridge and taking fifth at the Women's Atlantic Coast Championship (ACC) in New Haven.
Captain Hurst Bowl
In a regatta with two divisions, Harvard won both division A and B, scoring 38 points in each. In the A division, Justin Callahan, Kennedy Leehealey and Aidan Pesce won four of the 12 races and took second or third in another five. After the third race, they were comfortably in first and did not give up the lead. In the B division, Mitchell Callahan and Alexandra Dorofeev took first place in the regatta after race five of 12 and did not give up the division win from there. They placed first through sixth of 16 teams in every race.
Women's Atlantic Coast Championship
The Crimson team took fifth of 18 teams in the championship regatta that they qualified for just a few weeks ago. Harvard scored 182 points to secure their fifth place finish. In division A, Cordelia Burn, Emily Launderville and Margo Silliman finished in seventh, in a day where they moved up places throughout the 12 races. In the B division, Sarah Burn, Marbella Marlo and Marleigh Belsley finished fourth, highlighted by two first places finished across the 12 races and two third place finishes.

The Crimson will return to the water next weekend for a pair of regattas including the Women's Atlantic Coast Championship in New Haven, CT. Simultaneously, the Crimson will compete at the Captain Hurst Bowl hosted by Boston College.
